The Thing is...
A work in progress
Published by Not yet
The Thing is... is my second book, but its not in series as you may think.
When I told my daughter about The Missing Bunny book, I realized that I would have to write a book for my son as well, otherwise he might feel less important to me. So far the story have been written in a rough format and edited to a decent standard, ready for illustration. The story board have not been done yet, so it is still very early stages.

I am hoping to collaborate with Marianna more in the future, but I'm also open to the idea of maybe giving someone else the chance to draw this one.

My son knows about the book and very much approve of the content. I would've liked to show it to him for the first time only when the book is complete, but I couldn't wait to know what he thought of it. Low and behold, the comments he did have changed/developed the story a little bit. That would not have happened had he been completely out of the loop until the end. So Im quite glad I shared it with him beforehand.

The story is told by "Shadow", the family's pet rat. It is about a boy learning patients and finding his "thing" or to use other words, his "passion for something". Everyone around him have clearly got theirs already it seems and he feels slightly uneasy not having one. He then ask his dad for help and of course things work out in the end.

So its kinda watch this space for now.
